every day there are highlights and challenges to being a parent. yesterday's challenge was trying to get baby vomit out of my cleavage. nice.
my mum and dad should arrive in the next few hours and i'm already looking forward to handing over some of the more repetitive parenting tasks such as feeding and nappy changing. the other nice thing about my parents coming to visit is that there are always gifts from various friends and family members, none of which are for me of course but still make me happy anyway. some are hand-me-downs, some are loaners and a lot are new - it's like christmas at every visit.
it's time to sort out the laundry before miss G wakes from her post lunch time nap and demands her mid afternoon feed.
