i had a horrible cold for most of the weekend but other than sounding a bit nasal i'm feeling ok now. my pezzes are coming to visit again tomorrow for a few days and as usual i'm looking forward to it because it means entertainment for G and relaxation (and a shopping trip) for me.
G has been in a much better mood lately. her toothies don't seem to be bothering her as much as they were which is a blessing. she's very cheerful and now she isn't suffering so much she can focus on new things like rolling from side to side (she is so close to going all the way over from back to front that i'm worried i'll miss it when she does it for the first time) and playing with toys she previously didn't have the patience for. she's also started having rice milk again and while she doesn't get overly enthusiastic about it (a trait she probably gets from her dad) she eats quite a bit.
we need to start thinking about what we need for G on our trip to spain next month and we need to start looking at high chairs for the kitchen because she needs something safe to sit in down there (the kitchen is on the first floor of our three floor house).
we did make quite a few changes to the house last week and i'm seriously happy with the results. without buying any new furniture we've made the place a million times more functional and cosy and once we've moved the eliptical out of the garage and into the spare room on the middle floor i will be very happy indeed. it's all good. | << >> |
