cheerios on the floor

it's 3.30am and i've been up since about 1am with the little lady. i've just made a batch of mini-cheesecakes, we've watched some tv and i've dealt with the laundry. G is currently wandering busily around the very dirty kitchen floor and i'm considering getting the mop out and cleaning it. i've given up on the idea of sleep at least for the moment.
tomorrow my parents are arriving for a week long visit and, due to a bit of confusion and a wrong assumption, i'm having a bunch of ladies and babies over for coffee and cake in the afternoon.
i'd better go and stop G from eating cheerios off the floor.
