sleepless in B-o-A

i should be trying to get some sleep but the truth is that i just don't sleep very well when the cg is away so i always end up reading or watching tv for way too long in an attempt to make the night-time shorter.
g finally went to sleep at around 5.30am this morning but was awake again within a couple of hours. at which point i took her into our bed and she and i both slept until nearly 10am. we missed Rhyme Time but V&E and L&F came over after and we had tea and cookies while the kids played with Gs toys. G's sleep has been totally out of whack today but i managed to get her into bed and settled by 8pm which wasn't a total disaster. i haven't heard a peep out of her since then so fingers crossed for tonight.
i'm really looking forward to seeing the cg tomorrow. i've really missed him.
