i've just been for a smear test. that was a bunch of fun. you'd think that after having a baby and having people fiddle around with me for 9 months a smear test would be a piece of cake but it's still as unpleasant as it was before G came along.
G is currently sleeping and I should be collecting up the clumps of dust that have started forming around the house due to my cleaning neglect.
before i went to the drs i did have a rather happy time trying on all my old clothes and finding that i now fit in most of them. i was actually rather surprised - i know i'm losing weight but i still didn't think i'd be close to fastening any buttons so soon. i also found my favourite necklace, which has been missing since we moved back to canada, in the pocket of a top that i can now start wearing again!
