today has been a good day. G has been breastfeeding without causing me any real discomfort so i'm feeling much more positive about that. she has also slept happily quite a lot of the day. this afternoon we were feeling so confident with things that we decided to head out with G in the pram for an hour or so. we went to our local for a couple of drinks at happy hour and celebrated the fact that G is now 2 weeks old. it's the first time for a long long time that i've been to a bar and ordered a glass of wine. like i said, today has been a good day.
