For the first 7 months after Georgia was born I couldn't even contemplate a serious fitness "regime". Gradually my body stopped aching absolutely everywhere and I started adding exercise back into my life. Georgia is now 9 and a half months old and I'm currently doing four or five 30 minute sessions on our cross-trainer and a couple of 20 minute strength training sessions each week. I do it all after the little lady has gone to bed and I feel amazing after doing it. The bonus is that a couple of week ago I bought a set of bathroom scales and I've already lost 4 pounds of baby weight since I first stepped on them. Yay me!
Tomorrow the three of us are going on a mini-vacation. We have booked a "luxury cabin" at a place called Deer Park. We are taking lots of books and toys and we are planning to do nothing but relax and have lots of family fun. Well at least until the little lady has gone to bed, then we will be enjoying our private waterside hot tub and a few glasses of champagne!
