"you know this is all bin laden's fault don't you".
we got up at 5.30am. we threw on some clothes. we walked a couple of blocks to the line-up. it was already a couple of blocks long even though the immigration office doors didn't open for more than 2 hours. the CG instructed me to hold my place in line while he went to investigate. when he came back he estimated that there were already about 250 in the queue who were probably holding places for at least another 100. i huffed, i puffed and then we walked the two blocks back home. i couldn't stay because we have one time only lunch date at noon with out of town friends who i don't want to miss. we were home by 6am and i decided to get some use out of my new cocktail glasses and make crantini's. fuck osama bin laden for scaring the shit out of the world, fuck the US for hassling canada into making these stupid new immigration changes and fuck canada immigration for being incompetant asses. hello early morning crantinis.
