my lovely new netbook

the cg has gone to Germany for a few days on business. before he left today he took me out and bought me a lovely new netbook to make up for the mangling of my old laptop. i love my new netbook. it is so small and cute but perfect for internet browsing, watching missed tv shows and reading e-books.
G has been a very good girl for her mummy today. i was a little bit worried that 4 days and 3 nights of solo parenting was going to be a bit of a handful but today has gone well and, after her usual bath, bedtime books & bottle (all of which daddy normally does), G was in bed and asleep with no more fuss than usual. of course we still have a few days to go before the cg gets home but fingers crossed.
i should go to sleep. i didn't sleep very well last night - more my fault than G's - and no one else is going to get up tomorrow morning and get G's milk ready.
