it never occurred to me that being a mum would mean that i am never ever allowed to be sick again. unfortunately i am sick and i'm just very very grateful that G has been a total angel today.
i have no energy to do anything at all so we have spent most of the day sitting on the floor in the living room. i am watching indiana jones and the crystal skull and G has been playing with her christmas presents which have not yet been wrapped (babies are like goldfish, right? she won't remember that she's already seen them when she opens them on Christmas morning?)
i did manage to take a quick trip to the doctors to discuss my blood test results from last week. it seems that i'm not taking enough meds for my thyroid issue so they have prescribed some more. i have no idea what these meds are doing because i don't feel any different for taking them!
