the cg took a wonderful photo of G at the weekend which makes my heart melt. he's just got a new fancy digital SLR so hopefully it will be the first of many beautiful shots of her.
we've just got back from rhyme time (singing along to nursery rhymes with rattles and bells) at the library and she's having a bit of a sleep while i am supposed to be doing some cleaning. this afternoon we have what i call our ladies and littles ones meeting. the initial focus of the meet-up was to get some exercise and do some walking but we seem to spend way more time at the canal-side cafe than we do getting fresh-air. not that i'm complaining. tomorrow, after weeks of trying to find the time, we are finally (fingers crossed) going to take G swimming for the first time. i'm not really worried about her being in the pool (even though she still seems confused about being in the bath), i'm more worried about the logistics of getting her in and out of the pool and dried and clothed without dropping her on the slippy tiled floor and breaking her head open! i'm sure it will all work out though. i guess i should go and do something useful while she is kindly providing the opportunity. | << >> |
