it's sunny outside and i feel so much better than i have done for the last few days. it's probably the hormones but i've been very weepy since the weekend. yesterday i even started getting teary because they didn't do a side salad at the restaurant we went to for dinner!
there is good news and not so good news so far, on the housing front. the house we are moving to has not been flooded and we have a moving date of February 18; however, the apartment we are still living in has not yet been rented to anyone else and we really need someone to take it. there was a viewing this morning and there is still a month before our lease is up so it's not time to panic yet but it would be nice if all the ends were tied up before we head to Denmark and Sweden at the beginnig of Feb.
i'm 26 weeks pregnant today. that means i'm heading into the third trimester. i still don't know where i am going to be having the baby but i will be talking to my current midwife tomorrow about getting a new midwife in B-o-A and about having the baby at Bath Hospital. We are slowly but surely getting ready for the baby. we have the pram and travel system, a cot and change table, a baby bath, tons of clothes, a breast pump, bottles and steriliser and a ton of nappies, wipes and nappy sacks. all we need now is a moses basket and it's all systems go. our antenatal classes start in March. There are 8 sessions and we are hoping to meet some other couples who are in a similar position to us. it would be nice to learn something about the birth and looking after a baby too but that's all going to happen the way it happens anyway whether we are experts at it or not.
