after many weeks of practice i can now get G and myself up, washed, fed and clothed and out of the door within an hour. the only downside to this is that by the time we reach our destination, be it the library, the health visitor or wherever, i'm breaking a sweat and desperate for a glass of water. also, when we return home it takes me about 3 hours to tidy up the chaos that i left behind in my haste to leave the house. we went to "jo jingles" this morning. G was the youngest baby by far but she seemed to enjoy all the singing and bubbles and general hulabaloo. this afternoon i finally got to have a session on the eliptical and it felt great to be working out again. i only did 20 minutes but it's a start. hopefully i'll be able to fit in a least 30 minutes a day.
our next "sofa cinema" dvd arrived today. it's the first 3 episodes of Monkey, which probably means nothing to anyone in north american or anyone in the UK who isn't around my age. i'm really looking forward to seeing if it's as crazy as i remember it.
