"Shops and businesses in Bradford on Avon are battening down the hatches as the river Avon threatens to flood the town centre.
The Environment Agency has issued three flood warnings for the stretch of river between Melksham and Bradford on Avon and its tributaries.
Water has already flowed into Market Street and some shop owners have closed up and gone home."
the house we are supposed to be moving into next month is on the other side of the river to the town centre. i really hope it hasn't flooded because i'm desperate to settle down and get ready for the baby coming. we haven't really felt settled since we got back to the uk. i'm definitely happy to be back, and i haven't missed vancouver at all, but i'm getting tired of all the hassle. i just want to know where i am going to be giving birth to my baby, and meet the midwife, and attend some antenatal classes but this is all easier said than done when we don't have a settled location.
