sitting in the jacuzzi last night we decided to stick two fingers up at the deadly flu disease and go on our vacation as planned. we talked about our visas, which rucksacks we would take and what clothes we should put in them. i finally started feeling excited. this morning when i got into work i found out that our flights had been cancelled. not only had our flights been cancelled but cathay pacific had kindly ignored the fact that we had spent a serious amount of time, and a bunch more money, to get flights which suited us perfectly and stuck us willy nilly on other flights. i spent yet more time on the phone with the travel agency. i'm beginning to get the impression that they don't like me very much. anyway to cut a long story short, we may be able to postpone until the end of the year and not get hit with hiked up prices. that option is becoming increasingly attractive. the only problem is that we also found out today that we have to be back in england on September 19 which is going to mean taking 2 big holidays in the space of a few months!
on a lighter note, who wants to see me on my snowboard :)
