music: do you remember the good old days when i started every entry with a little list and a note about the music i had brought to work with me that day. music used to be my life but now it seems to have so much to compete with for my attention. anyway, today i have with me: portishead - dummy (reminds me of getting drunk over at diz and lazes place in kensington and waking up on their living room floor in just a pair of knickers), isn't anything - my bloody valentine (reminds me of going out with my new university friends for the first time. we were at a club and they put a MBV track on. i nearly peed my pants with excitement but no one else knew who they were), actual re-enactment - treepeople. plus i have some bob dylan, beatles and the vines, which was already on my desk.
thoughts: today is the day that my life becomes hellishly hectic for at least the next 13 weeks. from this week onwards i will be busy on monday nights with my sculpt and stretch class, on wednesday nights with my running clinic, on thursdays snowboarding and on fridays with my kickboxing exercise class. i also have to fit in, somewhere, two more runs every week without fail in order to keep up with my training schedule (and to ensure that i beat my previous years 10k run time) plus there's the driving practice and the cooking and a weekend day of snowboarding. do you remember the good old days when in addition to listing the CDs i had with me i wrote about sitting on my arse every night watching tv :)
