when i start to panic about moving back to england i calm myself down by looking at british furniture and electronic websites and imagine a lovely new apartment with a fabulous sofa and dining set, and an enormous plasma tv. then i start to panic about how we are going to sell all the stuff we already own that just isn't worth shipping across the ocean. we have nice stuff. in fact i would go so far as saying we have very nice stuff. everything is shiny and new not to mention the fact that we have great taste.

every day i seem to be able to fit into some new item of clothing that i haven't been able to wear for ages. today i could zip up my DKNY fitted jacket and fasten my red leather belt on a tighter hole. this gives me great satisfaction particularly since it was only 3 weeks ago that i decided to start very regular exercise and change my diet to include oceans of water, fields of varied fruit and veggies and whole wheat instead of, well, non-whole wheat. i'm feeling pretty good.
