i've had the same handful of songs on my nano since the cg bought it for me so yesterday i decided it was time for a change. the nano offered to sift through my computer and pick out some tunes for me and i thought "what the heck". bearing in mind that the music on The Machine includes stuff i do like, stuff i thought i might like but didn't, stuff i thought i should like but didn't and stuff other people thought i would/should like and maybe i did or i didn't, i have to say it did a pretty good job. ok it started off a bit lame with some OMD (i deny all knowledge of downloading that) but it got better with a bit of dinosaur, some galaxie 500, an aimee mann track, a modest mouse song i hadnt heard for ages and a snippet of an eddie izzard sketch about toasters/showers and turny knobs. its currently having an echo and the bunnymen fest which is odd because its on shuffle but thats ok since im seeing them on friday anyway so i may as well start getting in the mood.
ok so i've been in diaryland for about 7 years now and i'm thinking of shutting up shop here and moving on to myspace. i feel kind of bad about it but i need a shake up.
