i slept like a log last night. the night before that i got up at 2am, looked through an enormous book of henri cartier bresson's photos, made tea, watched the end of a movie, read half a book, didn't go back to bed until 7am and then got up at 8am. i slept like a log last night because we sold the apartment yesterday and we decided that selling was a good thing and everything would work out fine even if we don't find a new place to live before we move out.
about 4 years ago the cg and i arrived in vancouver with one very large suitcase between us; neither of us had a job, we didn't have anywhere to live, we didn't know the city (or much of the country for that matter) and we had no family or friends to stay with. it seems kind of crazy when i think about it now. but it all worked out perfectly for us. if we can give up everything we know and everything we own to move to a new country and start a new life we can deal with moving home. it's just another chapter in the adventures of sarah and the cg.
